Mega Barre was created in 2013 by a professional dancer and dietitian in Youngstown, Ohio. What started as a hobby turned into a community-centered approach to fitness with a multi-modality format. Our approach to community-centered fitness provides our client with a unique fitness experience and encourages them to come to the studio more than the industry average. While we’re founded in a friendly, supportive atmosphere, we also take a personal approach to fitness and work with clients individually to help them reach their fitness goals. The overall effect has culminated in a studio where members are emotionally connected while physically reaching their fitness goals.

Teacher Training Course Info:

Who Can Use This Material: These exercise videos are for professional, as well as, personal use. The exercises and information are intended for healthy individuals. Some exercises may not be suitable for every person. Consultation with a health professional prior to beginning any exercise program is necessary to determine any contraindications or risks.

Who This Training is For: Anyone looking to expand their offerings to a fitness studio or gym. This method is not classical or contemporary Pilates per say, although there are a lot of those elements mixed it. It is for the more fitness based community as it incorporates cardio intervals and weights. Our methods focus on quality of movement rather than quantity so our students learn to identify the difference between straining to make an exercise look correct, but instead executing an exercise with accuracy. The goal is for the client to discover both the power of the movement and what it means to move with precision, grace, strength and inner focus.
